Marathon Man - The last week starts with the gods mocking me.
This episode starts with me stepping out of the comfort zone. The squeamish (or those with proper social sensibilities) should just quit reading now.

If you're a MozyHome user and If you want to keep from thrashing your TimeMachine backup, exclude /Library/Application Support/MozyHome in the TimeMachine prefs. (TimeMachine pref, Other Options.)
Mozy uses this folder for staging and tracking the uploads to its servers. So it's always being updated (TimeMachine will think it's changed every hour). This will push older backups off your backup drive earlier than otherwise. Mozy ought to add this exclusion automatically.

On the Mac, in the past, when you created screen shots they'd be named sequentially Picture 1, Picture 2, etc. With Snow Leopard they are now date and time stamped, as in "Screen shot 2009-09-13 at 10.57.40 AM". The problem is, the way the file names are truncated in the Finder, the distinctive parts of the name aren't visible.

Hey Campers, thanks for tuning in again.
